The initial ideas for my work use drawing and printmaking as the starting point for developing ideas, designs and concepts. These designs have possibilities of being translated into a variety of techniques and materials that lend themselves to different situations in the built environment, depending upon the function of the piece. The final materials are often selected working closely with the clients after having gone through the consultation process including tested for necessary British health and safety standards.
